Oracle WebLogic Server 11g: Administration Essentials

This course trains Web administrators on techniques for installing and configuring Oracle WebLogic Server 11g. It also trains Web administrators to deploy Java EE applications to Oracle WebLogic Server 11g using the Administration Console and command-line and scripting tools such as WLST. Participants also learn to configure Oracle HTTP Server as the Web interface for Oracle WebLogic Server. Participants also learn to configure Oracle WebLogic Server cluster to support failover and load balancing for applications.

This course is aimed to provide an overview of the administrative tasks performed by a WebLogic Server administrator. At the end of the course, the participants will have gained knowledge at an associate level of competency. The follow up Oracle WebLogic Server 11g: Advanced Administration course provides a more in depth coverage of administration tasks.

Oracle9iAS Release 2: Discoverer for End Users Instruktor 2 dana
This course introduces students to the querying and analytical capabilities of Oracle 9iAS Discoverer. Students will learn how to view data stored in a relational database, and analyze and create reports based upon that data using Discoverer Plus. In particular, students will learn how to create, modify, and refine ad hoc queries using Discoverer's intuitive and easy-to-use Workbook Wizard. They will learn how to present data graphically and how to format query results to create customized reports.

Students will learn how to create simple and advanced calculations to perform data analysis and create reports that answer a variety of business questions, such as, year-to-year comparisons and ranking.In addition, students will learn how to schedule reports in batch mode, share workbooks with other users, and export reports to many other applications, including MS Excel, HTML, and Oracle Reports. Finally, students will learn how to use Oracle9iAS Portal to publish and customize Discoverer portlets.

This is the first course for administrators of the Oracle9i Application Server (Oracle9iAS ) Release 2.0. Students learn the basic tasks which will enable them to effectively administer, monitor and secure an Oracle9iAS environment. This class uses Oracle9iAS (release 2) Portal. In this course students learn to create and maintain Oracle9iAS Portal pages. They learn to add, organize, and classify content and deploy Oracle9iAS Portal search capabilities. They also learn to personalize the portal that they build by using parameters and customization features. Furthermore, they learn to build mobile pages for wireless devices. Finally, they become familiar with using portlet providers to extend the portal.
Oracle9iAS: Generate Dynamic HTML from PL/SQL Instruktor 2 dana
This course uses Oracle9iAS (Release 2). This course introduces PL/SQL programmers to features of Oracle9i Application Server for building dynamic Web applications that access an Oracle database. The course introduces the concepts of Web-enabling Oracle databases by using the PL/SQL Gateway and PL/SQL Server Pages. Participants will use the PL/SQL Web Toolkit to build dynamic, data-driven Web pages.

As Discoverer managers, students learn how to create and customize the End User Layer, how to create business areas and folders, and define analytical facilities for end users. Students learn about the different types of connection mechanisms supported by Discoverer and how to control the user access to the End User Layer.

Students also learn how to use Oracle9i materialized views for automated summary management. In addition, students learn how to configure Oracle9iAS Discoverer using Oracle Enterprise Manager, and enable Web Cache for Discoverer Viewer. In this course, you learn to use the rich, declarative environment of OracleAS Portal to build enterprise, or corporate, portals. You learn how to create and maintain a document library, and publish and search content using OracleAS Portal. You learn how to build portal pages to display content. This course introduces students to the basics of XML. The students learn how to create an XML document and format it using XML Stylesheet Language for transformations (XSL). The students validate XML documents using Document Type Definition (DTD) and XML Schema. The course discusses XPath expressions and how to use XPath expressions in XSL to select parts of an XML document to be transformed. XML Namespaces are used to apply uniqueness to elements, and parsing XML documents is done using Document Object Model (DOM). The Simple API for XML (SAX) is also discussed as a technique to parse XML documents. In addition, the students are introduced to the support for XML offered in various Oracle products, such as, the Oracle Database, Oracle XML DB, Oracle XML Developer's Kit, Oracle JDeveloper, and Oracle XSQL pages. The students learn how to format, query, validate, and store their XML documents using Oracle products.

OracleAS 10 g : Develop Web Services Instruktor 2 dana
This course introduces students to Web services and some of the open industry standards such as SOAP, UDDI, and WSDL. This course also discusses the J2EE specification and provides an overview of Enterprise Java Beans. Students will learn how to develop and deploy Web services using standalone OC4J, and how to use Oracle JDeveloper 10g, an integrated Java, XML, and Web services environment for developing, debugging, and deploying Web services.

This course provides students with a basic understanding of the architecture, database and file system used in Oracle Applications Release 11i. Students learn about the multi-tier architecture used to provide user access over the Internet or an intranet and the relationship between Oracle Applications and the Oracle database.

The course covers the structure of the file system used to store the Oracle Applications product files, environment files, and additional files required to support multiple languages in Release 11i. Students also learn how to use Rapid Install to perform both single and multi-node installations of Oracle Applications, AD Administration and other AD utilities to maintain Oracle Applications, AutoPatch to automate the application of Oracle Applications patches, and Rapid Clone to clone an Oracle Applications system.
